The Beginning of a New Chapter

ACM, Hong Kong Association of Christian Music Ministry, was officially founded in 1983. The founding members were passionate in music and their faith directed them to serve in music ministry. Through out the years, brothers and sisters of ACM have conducted Music Concerts, Worships, Workshops, Trainings, and Evangelistic events in Hong Kong. The talented members of the ACM write many well-known Contemporary Chinese Hymns, which are sung weekly in Cantonese speaking churches throughout the world.

In addition to ministering to the brothers and sisters in Hong Kong, ACM's ministry has crossed borders and travelled afar, from Hong Kong to China to Northern America. In 1999, due to the needs of Northern Americans, ACM began ministering and co-laboring with local churches and leaders for time periods of at least a month, every year. With Concerts, Worships, Workshops Evangelistical and Revival Events held every year, hundreds of people accepted Christ and dedicated their lives to serve God full-time.

In order to better serve North America's brothers and sisters, a new Chapter of ACM began in February of 2002. In April the same year, a group of local choir members in Toronto formed the Executive Members of ACM Canada. Within two months, the Board of Directors of ACM Canada was formed as well. After a few years, God has grouped together many volunteers and supporters throughout North America, carrying out the mandate--building lives and saving souls through worshipping together.  In 2006, this team was officially named "Immanuel Worshippers", to commemorate God's presence with the team.

Right now, the Immanuel Worshippers are dedicating their resources to:

1. Co-work with churches and fellowships to organize all forms of worship events, evangelistic and revival meetings using music as a media.
2. Provide customized training and workshops for worship leaders, pianists, worship team, band, sound engineers etc according to individual church needs.
3. Act as an agent for ACM copyrights in North America; provide free workshops regarding copyrights.
4. Provide free consultation service for audio system design.
5. Co-work with churches in different cities of North America to organize music missionary tours every year. Through the partnership with churches, we learn and experience God's grace together, we work together as one to bring lost souls to God and revive believers.
