Through the grace of our Lord we were blessed with the opportunities to set our feet all over the world and live out the Great Commission alongside Jesus Christ using music to preach His word. Our very first overseas ministry began with the 1983 North American Tour. In 1999, a new style – combining praise and worship with contemporary Chinese Christian music – was brought into the tour and was well-received by local crowds. Praise & worship events of various themes were then conceived and presented in the following years.

Christ’s providence has given us, the unworthy, many occasions to reach out to Christians and non-Christians alike around the world. Every song that we’ve sung, every word that we’ve said, every testimonial that we’ve given, and every tear that we’ve shed were stemmed from God’s love for us and the gospel ingrained in our hearts. Hence, we feel strongly about the need to call non-believers to believe, challenge Christians to renew their faith, and urge disciples to serve our Lord with their lives in every opportunity. The unspeakable joy of watching people commit their lives to Christ gave us strength to continue with our mission.

Touring is not always an easy journey. We encountered many trial and tribulations, including our staff and volunteers who had to cope with accidents that happened to their family members and even the passing of loved ones during the tour. We also faced difficult trials locally in 2001 when we visited Australia in March and New York in September of that year. Our experiences reminded us of our Lord’s awesome power. We will fear no evil, for He is with us. His rod and His staff comforts us and guides us. We will not deterred from continuing to extend the Good News to other parts of the world through music and songs, and bring people back to God, and to serve Him faithfully.

Due to the need to increase the effectiveness and quality of Canada’s music ministry, ACM Canada was established in Toronto, Canada in January 2002. The birth of ACM Canada is both a testament and demonstration of our Lord’s ever-growing might expressed through ACM, allowing us to serve the local Chinese communities in North America. As Christ commanded us to make disciples of all nations to the very end of age, we will endeavour to live out His command and spread the gospel throughout the world under His everlasting love.
